CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CHAKRA CRYSTAL BOWL MEDITATION

The Chakra Crystal Bowl are made of the highest quality (99.992% pure!) quartz crystal, making them incredibly resonant. The tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear, you feel them in your body, and with certain tones affecting your energy centers (chakras) for healing, balancing & Clearing. Crystal bowl sound is a form of vibrational medicine, which is based on the idea that an illness can be characterized by the blockages in the energy centers (the chakras).


Crystals can interact with our thoughts. Thoughts are energy forms. When thought energy interacts with a crystal, those thoughts are changed to more harmonic forms, which change brainwave frequencies, showing possible alterations in consciousness. Thus, the power of positive intention or affirmation combined with the use of crystals provides remarkable healing results.

GENTLE YOGA & MEDITATION (ALL LEVELS)

Our gentle yoga and meditation class is practiced in a slow, nurturing and soft pace. A time to cultivate strength and peace. Postures taught in a gentle flowing sequence supported by the breath. This class meets you where you are with an opportunity to connect mind-body-breath before being led through a guided meditation. This is an all level class, appropriate for stress reduction, newer students as well as seasoned yogis looking to slow down and deepen their concentration within their practice.

GONG RELAXATION

This class is a journey into deep relaxation, designed to clear the mind, body, and spirit. We will start with a short pranayama (breathing exercise) and immerse ourselves deeply in a 45 minute gong bath. The gong allows us to move beyond the boundaries of the mind and puts the body into a deep state of relaxation to allow the body to heal, rejuvenate & revitalize. It allows the mind to come to a sense of clarity and neutrality. You will leave feeling refreshed with a deeper connection to self.

KUNDALINI YOGA & MEDITATION

Experience Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This class will focus on pranayama breath-work, movement, meditation, and kriyas (cleansing practices to help strengthen the nervous system and subtle body to awaken the kundalini energy.)


When this energy awakens you will experience your own innate inner power and Joy.


You will leave feeling rejuvenated, energized, balanced, and present.

KUNDALINI YOGA & MEDITATION FOR BEGINNERS

This beginner's class is for both new yogis and students who wish to review and connect with the essentials of Kundalini Yoga.

 

The benefits of this class are the same as with any other Kundalini Yoga class.

This class is designed for those new to Kundalini Yoga and/ or are taking the first steps in their yoga practice.


It offers the opportunity for a bit more personalized class, where you will be taken almost step by step, so you can grow in confidence gradually and surely.

For those students with more experience, could also be helpful to review and correct the basics of the practice.


The students in this class will enjoy an experience of Kundalini Yoga, a powerful yet simple meditation and a deep relaxation to the sound of the Gong.

MONDAY MEDITATION AND SOUND HEALING

Monday mornings set the tone for the whole week, so take the time to start your week right. Experience breathing exercises, light stretching, meditation, and deeply relaxing sound healing with singing bowls.

Learn new ways of calming the mind and body with a variety of techniques that include silent meditation, guided meditation, and meditation with mantra. Sound healing with singing bowls can quiet the mental chatter, promote healing, and bring the body into a state of deep relaxation. The sound healing portion of the class will use crystal and/or Himalayan singing bowls and may include a singing bowl played on the body.

This class is appropriate for everyone (even if you have never meditated) and has light stretching that can be modified to each person’s needs.

SHAMANIC JOURNEY GUIDED MEDITATIION

Come and join us for a Shamanic Journey Guided Meditation with Danielle Wilkinson. All you have to do is show up, relax & lie down as Danielle guides you to a state of total relaxation and healing. Danielle will guide you to a total meditative state using percussion instruments such as her shamanic drum & rattles. Meet your power animal, spirit guides & other helping spirits, let go of what no longer serves you, awaken the best part of you, find inner peace & bliss! We are all spiritual beings living in a body; learn how to re-connect to your higher spirit for guidance & healing.

THERAPUTIC YOGA

An inclusive adaptive class for those recovering from recent surgery, injury, those dealing with chronic pain, insomnia, stress, range of motion limitations and any other obstacles to help reduce pain, release tension and improve overall movement through Pranayama (breath work), restorative poses, gentle therapeutic movement and poses, hands on healing, and gentle stretching to help bring balance to the body and mind. All are welcome.

YOGA FLOW

This practice will take you through a one breath, one movement vinyasa style yoga class- while flowing to a variety of fun music! As you gain strength, balance and flexibility in your body- your mind and spirit will also reap the benefits.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga’s emphasis on inner stillness promotes a deeply meditative experience. Yin Yoga consists of a series of passive floor poses that are typically held for 3-5 minutes. Each pose is held for several minutes to liberate the body's chronic holding patterns, relieve pain, and help recapture ease of movement. Yin yoga poses apply gentle tension to the connective tissues - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments - with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
